Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Is $1.31 On Dec. 31, So Let's End This Year On A Sweet Note

The year may be coming to a close, but there's still one more important date to mark on your calendar — Baskin-Robbins ice cream is $1.31 on Dec. 31, meaning no matter how your 2015 may have gone down, it's ending on one super sweet note. No, it's not a ploy to get more people to eat ice cream during the soft-serve off-season. The deal comes as part of a Celebrate 31 promotion Baskin-Robbins has been hosting this year to celebrate its 70th anniversary, offering up discounted treats on the 31st of every month since May.

So how does it work? First, make sure your closest Baskin-Robbins store is participating. Then, go ahead and order up your favorite scoop, and feel good about the money you are saving in the final hours of 2015 (although, keep in mind that waffle cones and other add-ons will cost you extra). Whether you have a party to go to later, or you plan on just spending the rest of the night parked on your couch, throwing cheap ice cream into the mix is pretty much the best way to ensure you have the most amazing New Year's Eve of all time. Thank you, Baskin-Robbins, for doing your part to make holiday dreams come true.

Personally, I'm making it my New Year's resolution to do more things I love, which just so happens to include eating ice cream at all hours of the day. For New Year's Eve, feel free to pick from any of Baskin-Robbins' classic flavors, or take advantage of the holiday season and opt for the brand's seasonal offerings while you still can. Oreo cool mint chocolate is the flavor of the month — and at $1.31 per scoop, you can bet I'll be ordering two.
