Just like everyone else who got engaged over the holidays and during New Year's Eve, Save the Last Dance star Julia Stiles is engaged to camera assistant Preston J. Cook. The 34-year-old actor announced the happy news via Instagram Monday. Stiles' rep also confirmed the news to People. Alongside a photo of her engagement ring, she wrote, "Best Christmas Ever!"
Basically, all of her other Christmases are going to suck. OK, not really, because I'm sure they are going to be even more special now that she's engaged and will soon be married. That said, future holidays will be hard to top, which definitely isn't a bad thing.
People reports that Stiles and Cook met while working together on Go With Me, which also stars Anthony Hopkins, Ray Liotta, and The Hunger Games' Alexander Ludwig. Per IMDb, the film description is as follows: "An ex-logger comes to the aid of a woman who returns to her hometown in the Pacific Northwest and finds herself harassed and stalked by a former cop turned crime lord." It is slated for an April 2016 release.
As of this moment, Stiles' rep said the two haven't set a date for their wedding, but here's hoping it takes place at a location that is as (if not more) gorgeous than the ocean background in their announcement photo.
