Ever since it hit theaters, Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens has been a success. The movie already raked in more than $1.2 billion worldwide and surpassed Frozen to become the eighth highest-grossing movie of all time. Never underestimate the power of  Star Wars fans! Tying into the movie's accolades, two of the youngest stars recently received some well-deserved recognition. Daisy Ridley and John Boyega ranked on  Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Hollywood/Entertainment category. They're joined by other notable names, including Brie Larson, Zendaya, and Matt McGorry. In a video interview with Forbes, Boyega talks about breaking into the industry. He said,

Clearly it was worth the risk! His determination paid off. While the 23-year-old has had smaller parts in the past, this really is Boyega's breakout role — and a groundbreaking one at that. He's the first black male to have a lead role in the Star Wars series. Similarly, his co-star and fellow 30 Under 30 winner Ridley shatters stereotypes as well. As the franchise's first female protagonist, her character Rey has been dubbed a feminist hero and proves women can carry movies just as well as the guys.

Just like Boyega, Ridley is 23-years-old and The Force Awakens is her biggest role yet. While it may sound like a longshot, TFA could even earn Ridley an Oscar nomination. She's attracting so much attention that stars like Kristen Stewart are offering her advice, since clearly this is just the start of her career. Before landing the role of Rey, she previously appeared in various London TV shows, such as Casualty and Toast of London. As for what she's up to next, she'll be voicing the main character in the animated movie  Only Yesterday .

Earning a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 proves that these young stars are a "force" to be reckoned with. This is likely just the beginning of many accolades and standout roles to come.
