Maisie Williams has easily become one of my favorite celebrities to watch, not just because of her killer acting skills, but because of her stunning fashion choices. For that reason, I'm super bummed that Maisie Williams at the 2016 Golden Globes didn't happen. The young actor has been killing it lately with all of her fashion choices, and I know that if she ended up coming to this awards show, she would've won a spot on the best dressed list.
Although she's only 18 years old, the Game of Thrones star has a very clear sense of what her style is and what she wants it to be, and she expresses it on the red carpet in a such a lighthearted, yet elegant manner. Whether it was her cotton candy pink Emmys gown or her powder blue, cut-out frock at the BAFTAs, Williams proves that she's unafraid to dress in darling, youthful pieces, despite her teenage peers dressing beyond their age.
If you follow Williams, you know that other than her winning dresses, she's all about the accessories, from her furry shoes to her frog-shaped purse. I strongly believe that's what makes Williams so fun to watch, whether it's an appearance on late night TV or a video on her YouTube channel. The devil is in the details, and the details are what Williams does best!
While I would've loved to see Williams slay on the 2016 Golden Globes red carpet, there's always next year. After all, Arya Stark will definitely have an even stronger part in the upcoming GOT series, so her chances of getting nominated are only going to be higher. (Fingers crossed.) Here are seven other times Maisie Williams killed it on the red carpet, proving why should've attend the Golden Globes tonight.
While the pink hue of her dress is fashion gift enough, those furry shoes are the icing on the cake!
2. Jumpers For Goalposts Premiere
I can't decide what I love the most: her printed skirt, that adorable mini purse, or her strappy blue sandal pumps.
At first glance, you might think Williams is just wearing an ordinary white button-up, but upon closer inspection, you'll notice the adorable lipstick and bunny embroidered onto it. Love.
4. The Falling Screening
Sure, you've seen oodles of sheer dresses with lace embroidery, many of which are sexy beyond words, but have you seen one as charming as Williams'? I'd argue not.
5. 65th Berlinale International Film Festival
Metallics and blush pink are two trends that might seem overdone, but not when Williams rocks it.
6. 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards
This Self-Portrait gown has got to be one of my favorite looks on Williams. The color and the cut is beyond stunning.
7. Entertainment Weekly's 2015 SAG Awards Party
No one does chic cute like Williams. No one.
