Khloe Kardashian Wore This To Tape Her Talk Show

by Rosie W.

This is no stranger to sharp dressing, so it's not a surprise that she'd nail casual chic during the filming of her upcoming talk show, Kocktails with Khloe. In a snap posted to her Instagram, Khloe Kardashian wore an edgy nude top that, with its long sleeves and high neckline, was both conservative enough for daytime TV while also including the signature dash of good ol' Kardashian sex appeal. Kardashian's aptly nicknamed glam squad accessorized the top with natural makeup (though they didn't leave off the false lashes) and tousled texture for her lob.

If Kocktails With Khloe is as successful as other recent Kardashian family projects (Kylie Jenner's lip kits, anyone?), Kardashian's daytime style will likely become a mainstay on a screen near you (as if Keeping Up With The Kardashians wasn't enough). The Huffington Post reports that the show has been greenlit for 8 one-hour episodes by lifestyle network FYI, and will feature Kardashian and celebrity guests enjoying an intimate dinner party in front of a live audience and half a dozen cameras.

While only time — and ratings — will tell if daytime TV has reached critical Kardashian saturation, it can't be argued that Khloe and her glam squad know how to pull a look together.

Long-sleeved shirts that are trendy and warm like Kardashian's are ultra covetable as we settle into the frozen misery of winter. If you're looking to copy her style exactly, however, be prepared for an uphill battle. While mesh panels have been trending for a while now, finding a beige graphic shirt or bodysuit (it's hard to tell which Kardashian is wearing in the image, though I suspect it's a bodysuit) is tricky. Those with darker skin tones already know "nude" options for darker skin tones are extremely limited, and this case is no exception. Also, many printed mesh tops feature dubious "tribal" designs, which can be kind of culturally appropriative. However, there are plenty of great options that play with illusion mesh and embroidery, from bodysuits to shirts to tights. Observe:

1. Embroidered Bodysuit

Nasty Gal Bloom or Bust Embroidered Mesh Bodysuit, $118.00, nastygal.com

Gorgeous embroidery makes this bodysuit.

2. Contemporary Mesh

Plus Lydia Spotty Mesh Contemporary Bodysuit, $26, boohoo.com

If you're looking for a less flashy bodysuit, this cute dotted number is a great option.

3. High Street

John Paul Gaultier Sheer Mesh Top, $139.66, etsy.com

This gorgeous vintage top by John Paul Gaultier shares some design similarities with Kardashian's piece. On the downside, it's vintage, so once it's gone, it's gone.

4. Knit Bodysuit

Stevie Knit Bodysuit, $149, revolveclothing.com

This bodysuit can be worn on a range of skin tones, and it's knit, so you won't freeze to death in it.

5. Lace Detail

Mock Neck Lace Detail Top, $44, bebe.com

This option is the warmest on this list and the most conservative, but it can be worn to work, which is always a plus in my book.

6. Illusion Tights

Cat Bow Tights, $16.50, Torrid.com

Perfect for incorporating the illusion trend somewhere besides your shirt and showing your love of cats.

7. Metallic Illusion Tights

Boho Print Tattoo Tights, $35, etsy.com

These ultra-cool tights feature metallic gold designs. Pair them with a sweater dress for cool but not cold days and look awesome.
