Celebs Swear By These Drugstore Skincare Products

by Melanie Richtman

Celebrities have the budget to buy any skincare product on the market, which makes their perfect, glowing skin seem slightly out of our reach, considering most of us mortals have to use our money for important things, like rent, and can't waste our disposable income on a $300 cleanser (although I really wish I could). Luckily, a lot of celebrities love drugstore skincare products, which means we can head to our neighborhood CVS and pick up the goods we need to achieve beautiful skin.

From lip balm to makeup wipes, there are plenty of awesome products available at your local drugstore, that are not only affordable, but celeb-approved. For celebrities, shopping for beauty products at a drugstore is probably convenient, because if they are traveling and run out of something, or need something, they can always head to a drugstore and pick it up, rather than worrying about being able to find their designer face oil abroad.

For us, drugstore skincare products are more of a necessity, but let's face it, you can get some amazing products at CVS or Walgreens. So the next time you head to a drugstore, be sure to pick up these celebrity skincare staples for healthy, glowing skin like your favorite celeb.

Gigi Hadid told Byrdie that she relies on Maybelline's Clean Express Wipes, because "it’s so much easier to have that in your bag than face wash — and to have it at the airport, where you can’t really wash your face." I can get behind that.

The Kardashians often dole out beauty advice, and Khloe raved about Garnier's Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream on her website, saying "do your gorgeous face a favor and slather it with moisturizer … you’ll thank me later, trust!!!”

Seems like celebs are just as lazy as us, preferring makeup wipes rather than meticulously washing their faces. Lily Alridge loves Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes because they "smell nice and are perfect to always have in your bag with you."

If you didn't hear about micellar water in 2015, you will definitely become familiar with it in 2016. This cleanser is like makeup remover that you don't have to wash off. Gwyneth Paltrow calls it "the best makeup remover" which means it has to be pretty good.

Much like myself, Emily Ratajkowski is an avid supporter of Aquaphor, because it's quite possibly the best product on the planet (in my opinion). She puts it under her eyes, on her lips, or any part of her skin that needs a little extra moisture.
