The Best Shoes Of Golden Globes History
When I think about the Golden Globes red carpet, I instantly think of beautiful dresses and elaborate hair, but I rarely think of shoes. While red carpet shoes are an essential part of the outfit, they are often difficult to see under the pounds of taffeta and silk that can sometimes make them go unnoticed. However, after researching the past few decades of red carpets, I have compiled the best shoe moments of the Golden Globes, and trust me, you don’t want to miss this amazing display of footwear.
Whether you are a sneaker head or a sky-high heel lover, there is bound to be a shoe you adore. From Megan Fox’s sexy Cinderella slippers to Diane Keaton’s bedazzled ankle boots to Cybill Shepherd’s crisp white high-tops, the leading ladies have worn every trend imaginable and then some. While all of the ladies are sporting superb footwear, I happen to think Drew Barrymore’s strappy metallic sandals take the cake. I mean, you can never go wrong with a pair of silver platforms.
If you are a footwear fanatic like me, or just want some outfit inspiration, scroll down to see the best shoe moments from the Golden Globes throughout its colorful history.
