9 '90s Trends That Have Made A Huge Comeback

by Augusta Statz

This is the decade that just keeps on giving. Check out nine ‘90s trends that have made a huge comeback because we just can’t let go of the past. No way — not when the clothes are this good, you know? The '90s were a time of boy bands and denim on denim, so why wouldn’t we want to try and live in that moment forever? I can’t think of a good reason not to, and many, many people agree with me, at least in terms of style.

From slip dresses to choker necklaces, there’s been quite a resurgence of '90s fashion statements, especially lately. Celebs such as Kendall and Kylie Jenner and many more have helped keep the ‘90s alive, and having grown up in the decade myself, I couldn’t thank them more for it. There are definitely some lovable moments from my childhood that I am able to recreate today (in a slightly new way) and that’s what’s so great about fashion. It’s constantly reusing and reinventing, and the ‘90s are a great era to pull inspiration from, if you ask me.

Check out a few of the trends of the time that are going to be here to stay for a while. Let’s all bask in the 1990s glory a little bit longer, shall we?

1. Slip Dresses

And she's still influencing them today.

But, they aren't out of style, just yet.

Ahh, yes. Who could forget about the cargo pant/sneaker combo?

We may not wear them with cargo pants anymore, but sneakers still make any look way cooler.

5. Leopard Print

And it's still super fashionable, by the way.

6. Track Suits

You can't go wrong with a sporty look.

Even in 2016.

7. Pantsuits

There's a celeb or two that can still pull off the trend in modern times, too.

Some things never change.

These fashion trends have lasted through the years, and for good reason.
