Nyong'o Rocks Out for Miu Miu

by Cherise Luter

Lupita Nyong'o is having the best year ever and, with the premier of the Miu Miu Spring 2014 collection campaign, it just got better. Nyong'o joins Elle Fanning, Bella Heathcote and the Olsen twins' younger sister Elizabeth Olsen (the family resemblance is spooky) as the face of the new ads.

The campaign was inspired by the new generation of Hollywood talent, photography duo Inez and Vinoodh told Racked:

We dive into a techno interpretation of the SS14 collection, starring a new generation of Hollywood talent. With video game speed and sounds, we discover the four actresses' imaginary bedrooms through the liquid slide projections created by overlaying the footage with magnificent patterns of the Miu Miu prints.

Miu Miu is known for their of-the-moment campaigns starring famous faces, so it was a given that they recruit Nyong'o. She is about as of-the-moment as you can get right now.

Nyong'o has taken home numerous awards for her stirring performance in Steve McQueens’s 12 Years a Slave, but her fashion choices have also garnered lots of praise. The actress, who also directs, instantly hit this awards season's best dressed list with her red Ralph Lauren gown at the Golden Globes and has continued to top the list since.

Watch as Nyong'o jams to techno beats by Porter Robinson in bright Miu Miu tanks, dresses, coats, and leggings, and below see the other lovely ladies in this season's campaign.

The video could induce a seizure, but it's worth the risk:
