Stop Everything: Harry Just Tweeted Taylor Lyrics

Feb. 1, 2016, is a very important day for those still holding on to their #Haylor love, because it's the day that Harry Styles turns 22. And if you are not a Taylor Swift fan or aware of her music, which is highly unlikely at this point, Swift kind of made the most infamous and epic ode to being 22 years old with her 2012 pop masterpiece aptly titled, "22." I woke up to a massive Internet party of fans celebrating Styles' birthday with memes via social media, mostly by referencing his birthday in connection with Swift's "22" music video. While usually shying away from any connection to T. Swift as of late, Styles joined in and tweeted the lyrics to the song, saying, "I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22."

Even if it's been over three years since the end of their relationship, Haylor is surely not dead, at least for the fans. Forever being the most cheeky, flirtatious, and somewhat ~mysterious~ member of One Direction, Styles seems to have been paying close attention to his fan dedications and made a very loud and clear gesture via his Twitter.

But what does this mean? Does he still love her? Does he miss her? Or is he simply just literally feeling 22? I know Styles likes to play coy when it comes to his romantic life, so as I see it, quoting "22" was probably just too perfect to pass up. It is funny and teases the Haylor fans just a little bit, while not really saying much at all, which Styles has perfected over his years in One Direction. Plus, the song is just really, really catchy.

It's quite the perfect moment to make any reference to Swift, without actually having to expound on their relationship and what happened, which he seems to be over by this point. It has been a while since he has explicitly spoken about Swift, and the most recent time they were connected again was when One Direction's song "Perfect" was rumored to be a reaction to Swift's "Style," a song which is very clearly written about him.

When asked by Entertainment Tonight whether the song is about Swift, Styles answered,

Obviously, you write a lot of stuff from personal experience, but it doesn't necessarily have to be so literal... People can interpret a lot of different things in different ways. And I'm not going to tell someone it's not about what they think it's about, because I think the whole point is — it's about whatever it means to you.

Yeah, seems like he doesn't really want to talk about that anymore. Anyway, Swift has been happily dating Calvin Harris for nearly a year and Styles is canoodling with Kendall Jenner, so I venture to say that he is just having a good day, sharing in the fun with his fans and feeling 22.
