Why You Won't See Brittney On 'Little Women: LA'
If you had asked me if I thought Brittney Guzman would be returning to Little Women: LA after Season 3 of the Lifetime docuseries ended in November, I would have said, "Heck yes!" OK, so I probably wouldn't have said it exactly like that, but you get the idea. Brittney, who is also known as Freakabritt, brought a lot of drama to the show last season, so since she made such great TV, why wouldn't Brittney return for Season 4 of Little Women: LA ?
Well, Season 4 of the show kicked off on Jan. 27, with returning cast members Briana Renee, Christy Gibel, Elena Gant, Jasmine Arteaga Sorge, Terra Jole, and Tonya Banks. However, Brittney was nowhere to be found. None of the other ladies even mentioned her name or addressed her absence during the season premiere. Of course, that's probably because they have too much drama going on between the returning cast members to give a hoot about her, but still. For that matter, you probably shouldn't hold your breath for Brittney to return. She won't be featured on Season 4 of Little Women: LA at all.
Brittney announced that she had quit Little Women: LA at the end of December 2015 in an official statement released by her PR firm:
I hope you all had a great holiday season, I was fortunate enough to spend the holidays with my family here in Los Angeles.
Inquiring minds have been asking about my return to Little Women LA for Season 4. I am here to confirm that I will not be returning. While there were lots of great things that came with being on the show, there were also some bad and I felt it was no longer a fit for me. I want you all to be able to get the best representation of myself, and didn't feel like that was possible on Little Women LA.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me on and off the show, and I look forward to moving on with future projects and continuing to portray the real me. You WILL be seeing Freakabritt on television again!
Without Brittney really getting into specifics here, I can only speculate why she wouldn't want to return to Little Women: LA for Season 4. During the season, she did have a major falling out with Terra, one of her good friends before the show. Because of her conflict with Terra, Brittney wasn't portrayed on Little Women: LA in the most positive light. Terra also seemed to have more support from her Little Women: LA castmates when everything was said and done. The fact that Terra serves as an executive producer on the show could also have something to do with that. Also because of that fact, there's the possibility that the split was mutual.
Since announcing her departure from Little Women: LA, Brittney hasn't had kind words for the show on Twitter, calling it "fake" and throwing a bit of shade at it when TMZ reported that Christy got into a physical fight with two of her castmates while filming Little Women: LA last month.
But as you can see, Brittney has also said that bigger and better things are on the horizon for her, although it's unclear exactly what's in store for her in the future.
Whatever the case may be, now that Little Women: LA isn't a part of Brittney's life, she's focusing her attention on her dancing and acting career, according to an interview she gave with Wetpaint last month. Brittney, who busted a move with Miley Cyrus on her Bangerz Tour, also predicted that the singer would get back with her ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, by the way. Something like that requires your full attention, obviously.
What we do know about Brittney's life post-Little Women: LA is that she's definitely been focusing on her career, making public appearances, working on her twerking, and getting her name out there in the press, such as in an upcoming interview for MAC Cosmetics' website. Brittney has also made time to give back to organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Manifest Your Destiny Foundation. When she's not doing any of that, she can be seen hanging out with her family, including her dad David, who caused a stir last season on Little Women: LA because of his alleged romantic involvement with some of the cast members.
Well, no matter what Brittney is up to these days, here's hoping that her life is a lot less dramatic and a lot more fun so that she can really let her Freakabritt flag fly.
