9 Taylor Swift Outfits Her iPhone Game Definitely Needs To Include — PHOTOS
If 2016 feels like it's been lacking T Swizzy news, fear not, Swifties. Taylor Swift is getting her own mobile game for smartphones and tablets. Yes, your favorite pop star is going to have her own app (!!!). Signing a multi-year licensing deal with Glu Mobile, the same folks behind Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, the company said in a press-release that they're hoping to "develop and create a new, one-of-a-kind digital gaming experience." To me, and probably every other Swift fan on the planet, that sounds like some pretty exciting news!
I think an original app is long overdue for the pop star. Not only is Swift highly regarded and decorated for her original music, but she also has more than 227 million social media followers. Which, to say the least, is a very large amount. Glu Mobile is likely hoping her large Internet-based following will translate into a popular app similar to Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, which CNN Money reported makes over $700,000 a day. Knowing T-Swift fans and all their passionate determination, that shouldn't be a problem.
While there are no hard details about what the game will be like yet, there's no doubt Glu Mobile will capitalize on all of Swift's talents. I'm sure concerts will be included, as well as hanging out with her celeb girl squad, and even chilling with her adorable kitten. Maybe even rumored boyfriend Calvin Harris will make an appearance? We'll have to wait until December to find out!
Glu Mobile's latest app for Katy Perry, called Katy Perry Pop, which was released last December, and the company is set to publish apps for Nicki Minaj and Britney Spears this year.
There's still lot's of time before we can download the Taylor Swift game, but until then, we can keep ourselves busy by guessing what real-world outfits she's worn will make it into her virtual app. From her flawless stage ensembles to her red carpet attire, here are nine Taylor Swift outfits that are bound to make it into the app because of how chic and amazing they are.
1. Stage Ensemble
"She wears short skirts..." Yes, Taylor, yes you do. This stage outfit from her 1989 World Tour would make a perfect performance outfit for the game. From the blue skirt to the shiny bomber jacket, I couldn't think of anything more suitable for a "Shake It Off" dance.
2. Co-Ord Set
There's no doubt Swift looked absolutely stunning at the 2015 Video Music Awards in this sparkling crop top and joggers co-ord. I would be surprised if this look didn't end up in her virtual wardrobe.
3. White Jumpsuit
This sleek jumpsuit look landed T-Swift a place on the best-dressed list at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, and I don't think anyone would complain if they saw virtual Swift rocking it in her game. It was that good.
4. Turquoise Gown
Didn't she look like a drop-dead-gorgeous princess last year at the Grammys? Here's to hoping we'll be seeing more of this look on Swift's app.
5. Street Style
For downtime with Calvin, or when just chilling with Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson (ahem, Swift's cats), this would be the perfect outfit.
6. Sparkly Crop Top And Skirt
Another amazing stage outfit, because you know you're going to want to perform "Bad Blood" in the game at least a few hundred times.
7. Strapless Mini Dress
Girly and sweet is definitely Swift's style, and this gorgeous embellished mini dress is the perfect example of that.
8. High-Waisted Shorts
No one does a pair of sailor-esque high-waisted shorts like Taylor!
9. Pink Gown
If the soft pink, embellished Oscar De La Renta gown Swift wore to the 2014 Met Gala is included in the game, I think I may start a petition to get it there.
Note to app developers: Keep these outfits in mind! While I'm sure there are many more killer T-Swizzle ensembles to come, these ones are classics. Only 10 more months until December!
