Here's How You Can Be A Part Of Yeezy Season 3

by Marc Cuenco

Stop what you're doing because here is some major Yeezy news. Kanye West is casting extras for the Yeezy Season 3 show at New York Fashion Week. Here's the best part: This sweet gig will not only make you witness firsthand what is sure to be the most talked-about runway show at NYFW, but you will get paid for it. But the good news doesn't stop there. You will also be one of the first to hear West's new album Waves at one of two rehearsals or the actual show held at Madison Square Garden. OnSet Productions, the company responsible for casting extras and audiences at various events, posted the following casting call for next week's show:

Yeezy Season 3 is launching a casting for up to 1,200 paid extras to participate in the exclusive Yeezy Season 3 fashion show and premiere of Kanye West's upcoming album at Madison Square Garden on February 11th. Extras will be among the first in the world to hear the new album and meals will be provided.

So, how do you apply to be an extra? Just visit the OnSet Productions casting page and click on the "Apply Paid Audience" link. You will be prompted to create an account to login, unless you already have one. You can choose to apply as an extra for a rehearsal in Long Island on Feb. 9, a second rehearsal at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 10, or the Yeezy 3 runway show on Feb. 11. Those who are selected will be compensated between $50 and $80 in cash for attending, but that depends on which event you are applying for. I would apply to all three myself, just to increase my chances of getting chosen. According to the tweet below, the applicants will be notified this weekend.

For those who aren't chosen, you can still watch Yeezy Season 3 and the new album release at select theaters nationwide.

That's right — select theaters, guys. However, it's still worth it to try and apply online to be an extra at the show. Meanwhile, yesterday's casting auditions for Yeezy Season 3 also happened, based on the following tweets:

But, who wouldn't wait in line if it meant modeling the latest Yeezy collection, right?
