The older I get, the more I’m shocked at just how young the women of The Bachelor are. I mean, I could be their mother. Not really, but at least I feel as though I could be their mother. And, some of the women of Ben Higgins’ season seemingly rank really low on the maturity scale (not naming names… Emily), but some, like Caila Quinn, have totally surprised me. Caila is not only totally sweet, smart, and beautiful, but she’s proven herself to be a thoughtful and inquisitive young woman— something that frankly Bachelor casting can sometimes lack. I don’t want her to win Ben’s heart — I don’t know that they’re right for each other. What I want is for Caila to be ABC’s next Bachelorette.
According to her ABC.com profile, Caila hails from Hudson, OH, but she currently lives in Boston. This 24-year-old is a software sales rep up there in Massachusetts, and while I can’t really tell you what that entails, I can say with certainty that she has a job in which she does something. That’s more than some other contestants with job titles like “Chicken Enthusiast” can say. Caila is pretty much the complete package, and here’s why she should be the next star of The Bachelorette.
Caila Thinks She’s Unlovable
Just like Ben, Caila believes that, for some reason, she is incapable of receiving a perfect type of love. While I would argue that there is really no such thing, Caila definitely has to work this issue out, and what better way than as the next star of The Bachelorette ? That whole story would make wonderful television, and we all know it.
Caila Is Adorable & Down-To-Earth
According to her ABC bio, Caila’s favorite movies are My Fair Lady and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She loves the fall and Colbie Caillat. She hits so many check marks on the cuteness scale that I think she’s the only person in Bachelor history to score that off the charts. Caila is clearly very intelligent and totally cool, too, and America would eat her up faster than McDonald’s all-day breakfast. I mean, I would, too. I love this girl. She seems a bit too earnest at first meeting but you know that she does not suffer fools wisely — perfect for The Bachelorette.
Caila Believes In Fate & True Love
The Bachelor and The Bachelorette do best with people who really believe in the process of the show. In Caila’s ABC.com profile, she says that she is “one of those rare people that believes in fate and always tries to be present” because you never know if you could meet your soul mate standing in line at Starbucks, or something. And, you very well could — she met her last long-term relationship on an airplane. That sort of attitude means that Caila would be a great Bachelorette because she would really want to be a great Bachelorette.
