Meghan Trainor Made A Drastic Hair Change

It's officially hair makeover season in Hollywood, because celebrities just can't stop changing up their hairstyles. Meghan Trainor dyed her hair red recently, following the example of Lauren Conrad, Hilary Duff, and Rihanna, who have all debuted new looks over the past few weeks. I must have missed the hair change memo.

The 22-year-old took to Instagram to reveal her brand new 'do, which is composed of a warm brownish-red color and a lob style haircut. It seems the lob is still going strong in 2016, eh? The fresh style suits the singer beautifully, but she looks practically unrecognizable. Seriously, I had to do a double take while scrolling through my Instagram feed, so if she was going for dramatic, she definitely nailed it. The singer is notorious for her ultra long blonde locks, so seeing her with anything else will definitely take some getting used to.

What sparked this sudden transformation, you might ask? Trainor's Instagram caption says it all — "NEW ALBUM. NEW HAIR. THANK YOU LO LO." A new record definitely calls for a new look, if you ask me.

It's also worth noting that Meghan's new hue is much closer to her natural hair color, which is actually brown not blonde! I bet you didn't know that, did you?
