Erika Jayne's Husband Is Rolling In The Dough

by Marenah Dobin

If you've been watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I'm sure that Erika Jayne's tagline "I'm an enigma wrapped in a riddle... and cash" stands out to you. And you also probably noticed that she is not just talking a big game. The girl really is rich. Not only is her husband loaded, but she is super successful on her own. Erika is a dance music singer with a reported net worth of $5 million. She tours, sells albums, and is a reality star on top of it all. Her Beverly Hills mansion is immaculate and she has two planes. But what does her husband Thomas Girardi do to make so much money? It's clear that the word "wealthy" is an extreme understatement when it comes to these two. They are on another level when it comes to earning.

It turns out that Thomas has accumulated his wealth through being a lawyer, and you are probably thinking about all of the lawyers that you know and how none of those people are that rich. He has to be doing a lot of things right, taking on some high profile cases, working overtime, or something special, right?

That is correct. Erika's husband is an extremely accomplished man, so it's pretty evident that between his money and Erika's singing career, she is just doing this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills gig for fun. Their bank accounts are definitely not hurting for cash by any means.

So how did Thomas get all that cash to wrap around everyone's favorite Housewife? There have been many contributing factors.

He Has His Own Law Firm

Thomas is a partner and founder at Girardi Keese, a Los Angeles law firm that opened in 1965. According to the firm's official website, Girardi Keese attorneys have recovered more than $10 billion in verdicts and settlements. That is a lot of money and I'm sure that a hefty chunk of that comes back to the Girardi household.

He Has More Than 30 Verdicts Of $1 Million Or More

In 1970, Thomas was the first lawyer in the state of California to win $1 million in a medical malpractice verdict, which is a big deal. And from that point on he has had over 30 verdicts worth $1 million or more and more than 100 settlements worth $1 million or more. And once again, I'm sure he got a fair share of that money.

He Worked On The Case That Inspired The Movie Erin Brockovich

In a case against Pacific Gas & Electric, the company ended up agreeing to pay $333 million to 650 residents in California because of water contamination. This case was such a big deal that it inspired the movie Erin Brockovich .

Clearly, Thomas has had a lot of success as a lawyer and it looks like he continues to do so even at age 76. As we can see from watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the man is constantly working and it seems like he's killing it. All of us Erika fanatics can rest easy at night knowing that there will always be cash to wrap up the enigma and riddle that is our beloved Erika Jayne.
