Hillary Clinton Wins the Super Bowl

by Camille Bautista

Even political bigwigs love them some football. Hands down, Hillary Clinton claimed the top spot for the Super Bowl tweet of night, writing,"It’s so much more fun to watch FOX when it’s someone else being blitzed & sacked! #SuperBowl." Talk about throwing some shade! The former Secretary of State and possible presidential candidate basically won the big game and the Twitterverse's heart Sunday night with one click.

Fifteen minutes after posting her quip, Clinton received 20,000 retweets. The Denver Broncos took a beating from the Seattle Seahawks and it seems like Clinton was having herself a good time (no word on who she was rooting for, though). After all, it's not her at the end of any political beat downs — and she's had her fair share, especially from Fox News.

The network is known for its scathing coverage of the Democratic party, and they're not too big a fan of Clinton's views or decisions, particularly when it comes to the 2012 attack in Benghazi, Libya. The tweet came shortly after President Obama's tense interview with FOX's Bill O'Reilly.

Clinton joined the social network in June (with a boss profile pic to boot). Her tweets have been pretty subdued thus far, but Sunday night's epic post proves she's got some snark. We're hoping next year's Super Bowl is going to be on Planet Hillary.
