How To Get Your Favorite Demi Lovato Looks

From edgy and smoldering to classic and understated, great style is hard to execute and achieve. But Demi Lovato's beauty game is always fierce. And while that's one reason why we love her, there are many others. First and foremost, Demi speaks out about issues that really matter. She fights on behalf of mental health awareness, anti-bullying, and LGBT activism, and her advocacy of body positivity and acceptance means she's a beloved and iconic figure to millions of people.

Another one of the main differences between Demi Lovato and other pop stars is her honesty. She uses her own personal experiences to help others find strength and, of course, Confidence. Demi's style and spunk also set her apart from the pack, and for that reason, I couldn't think of a better person to model your next #FOTD after.

We'll also let you know what to do and what products to use so you can achieve these looks on your own, BUT! Don't forget to blast Confident while you're getting ready to really get in the right mindset.

#1: 2016 Grammys

Why we love it: This was a huge night for Demi. Her knockout performance during the Lionel Richie tribute proved her powerhouse vocal abilities to the pop music defectors. Her beauty look was classic and understated, a perfect complement to her killer talent.

How to get it: First, use a shimmery peach shade on the eyelids; the Lovatics By Demi Eyeshadow Palette is your best bet here. Make sure to apply color around the entire eye, including under the bottom lash line.

Eyeliner is not a big part of this look, but lashes are. So if your lashes are on the thinner side, make sure to tightline — meaning to line the waterline at the base of the lashes. The effect is subtle, but it really makes eyes pop without any discernible eyeliner. Gel liner works great for this. Try the Big Bold Gel Intensity Liner, which will give you added control since it comes in a pen rather than a pot. Afterwards, make sure to load up on the mascara. Since there's sort of a monochromatic vibe here, choose a peach-colored blush for the cheeks and a swipe of Liquid Lipshine Lip Gloss in Brighton Beach Peach for the lips. Finish off the look with a glittery (yes, glittery — we're going for high impact) highlighter on the face and décolletage.

#2: 2015 AMAs

Why we love it: She brought some serious drama with this retro Hollywood look. Plus, she totally pulls off wearing a smoky eye with a dark lip. Respect.

How to get it: Start by lining the entire eye — all around, waterline and all — with Show Time Kohl Kajal In True Black. You're doing this before eyeshadow so that everything blends together seamlessly. Find a purple shade you like and work it into the liner (this will make brown eyes like Demi Lovato's really stand out), then blend out the brown shade from the lid to the crease. Use the lightest shade in the Lovatics by Demi Eyeshadow Palette along the brow and on the inside corners of the eyes to highlight. Load up lashes with Big Bold Full Impact Mascara.

For the lips, begin by lining and filling in the lips with lip liner to prevent bleeding, make color last longer, and create a clean line. Then finish with Get It All Lip Color In Extraordiberry.

#3: 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival

Why we love it: Between the beachy waves and the pink lip, this look totally epitomizes "Cool For The Summer." We can practically feel the Vitamin D radiating off Demi's skin.

How to get it: Using High Definition Liquid Eyeliner in Extra Black, draw on a winged liner. Felt tip eyeliners are the best for a winged look because they give you the best control and make it easy to correct any errors. Follow up with Lovatics by Demi Mascara for volume and length on the lashes.

Pink lipstick is by far the best summer accessory (although Demi's white cropped leather jacket comes in a close second). Choose a light shade, like Get It All Lip Color In Pinkdigious.

#4: 2014 The Neon Lights Tour

Why we love it: To me, this is classic Demi Lovato. The girl pulls off a red lip like no other. Here, her overall aesthetic is fun and sporty, matching her lip to the sequined track jacket she wore for her concert.

How to get it: You'll need a pearlescent white shade for the inside corners and bottoms of the eye. Avoid using white on the entire lid, unless you're going for a heavily '90s-inspired look. Instead, break out the Lovatics by Demi Eyeshadow Palette again and blend the second lightest shade into the lid. Next, line the top lid with Show Time Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in True Black, close to the lash line. Smudge a small amount along the bottom lash line, as well.
