Artist Makes 'Harry Potter' Faves Out Of Oreos

Art has progressed so much in the past few centuries that just about anything can be used as a canvas. But I'd venture to say that none are quite as daring, quite as bold, quite as revolutionary as this artist who made Harry Potter characters out of Oreos. In collaboration with Elite Daily, artist Tisha Saravitaya expertly carved the faces of Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Snape into the underside of what appears to be a vanilla Oreo with only Oreo frosting, and the results would put any of Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop treats to shame.

According to Elite Daily, Saravitaya's inspiration for the unique medium came from opening an Oreo one day to have the frosting look like the swish from the Nike logo. Whereas that would inspire most of us to just, y'know, take that Oreo to the face, Saravitaya actually turned her Oreos into beautiful performance art. And what better way to celebrate a new talent than recreate the single most important fandom in the universe? (SIT DOWN, Tumblr, let the '90s babies have this.) The video is sped up so our faves go from blobs to magical frosted versions of themselves in mere seconds, and it is straight up mesmerizing to watch.

Take a look at ~the boy who lived~.

He's even got a tiny frosted scar! Bless his tiny frosted heart. Here's hoping that the rest of Dumbledore's Army will get to join them in Oreo form, mostly because I want Neville Longbottom to be drawn up in with a Cinnamon Roll Oreo (as he is a precious cinnamon roll, too good, too pure for this world).

Here's what the rest of the fam looks like:

I can practically hear the Snape's Oreo yelling at the Golden Trio to turn to page 394 from here. Watch the entire mesmerizing Oreo art video below:
