JoJo's Age Doesn't Matter For 'The Bachelorette'

I think all Bachelor fans' hearts broke for JoJo when Ben sent her packing from during the finale. After their exchanges of "I love you," JoJo seemed completely blindsided when she was sent home and her tearful car ride away from Ben was so hard to watch. When she whispered "I just want to go home," I died for her. At that moment, I immediately began rooting for JoJo to be the next Bachelorette. Now that it has been confirmed that we will see JoJo running the show on the next season of The Bachelorette, fans have been speculating whether she was the right choice. And despite some criticism that says otherwise, JoJo's age has nothing to do with her future stint as Bachelorette.

At 24 years old when she started the show and 25 now, some viewers may think that JoJo needs more time to find love, but what actually matters is how she feels. Throughout this season of The Bachelor, she has proven that she is ready to take her quest for true love into her own hands and takes her future seriously. In my opinion, that's badass. It shows that JoJo is independent and in control of her own life. What better qualities could we ask for a Bachelorette? And those are just two of the traits that make JoJo such a great choice.

She's A Romantic

JoJo has always shown her cards when it came to romance. Despite her betrayal by Ben, she's adorably hopeful when it comes to true love. She'll definitely need to maintain that trait as she embarks on another televised dating experience.

She's Sweet

JoJo is seriously one of the sweetest contestants that have been on The Bachelor. Her likable personality made her seem like someone that would be fun to just hang out with, which makes the prospect of a TV season focused just on her exciting.

She's Got It Together

JoJo has her stuff together. She has a great career as real estate developer, is fully independent, can handle her own business, and has taken control of what she's looking for in her personal life. Being the Bachelorette has to be stressful, but I think JoJo is more than capable of handling it.

Basically, age is just a number. JoJo is ready to seek love on The Bachelorette and I'm already excited to see her find it.
