If you thought this woman's selfies weren't groundbreaking, then think again. Kim Kardashian is one of Time's Most Influential People on the Internet for the second year in a row. There's one major reason why she made the list, and it's not just because of her fabulous fashion sense. Did you really think that Kardashian wouldn't make the cut for Most Influential People on the Internet? After all, she did break the darn thing — and more than once, at that!

You can't go a day without seeing Kardashian's face plastered somewhere on social media (or regular media, at that) so it only makes sense that Time would bestow her with this honor. The list of 30 people is full of influential stars like Tess Holliday, Baddiewinkle, and Drake, but Kanye and Kardashian were the only power couple to both land a spot, and it's no wonder why. Between Kanye's Twitter rants and Kardashian's bold naked selfie, these two have definitely made their mark on the Web in 2016.

“I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me,” Kardashian wrote a recent essay on slut-shaming. “And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world.”

Her habit of posting nude photos not the only reason she made the cut though. While sometimes it's about what she's not wearing, most of the time her followers are obsessed with what she is wearing. With 63.8 million digital eyes on her, Kardashian continuously chooses to be her bold self, which happens to make her one of the world's biggest trendsetters.

She could just play it safe with her style, but she chooses to wear whatever makes her happy, whether people will like it or not. That's what makes her a true Internet icon. Here are a few times she proved she's worthy of that "Most Influential" title.

There's nothing bolder than wearing a jacket with your own face on it. Say what you want about her, but don't ever say she doesn't have self-love.

Not only does she set the trends, she also shares some of her secrets as well. I can't think of anyone else who would go on social media wearing only tape as a shirt, but Kardashian is no average Internet star.

Then there was that time when she surprised everyone with her blonde hair.

The star is such a trendsetter that she brought her closet to life on a mobile game. People were instantly as obsessed with Kim Kardashian: Hollywood as they are with everything else she does.

6. Maternity Heels

She stunned everyone when she rocked her high heels all through her pregnancy. It would have been totally legit for her to rock flats and sneakers the whole time, but she's nothing if not consistent.
