Pretty much anyone who has and is starring on Bravo's Real Housewives franchise is rolling in dough. The proof is in the ladies taking trips to luxurious locations, purchasing ridiculously expensive cars, shopping for purses that cost more than my rent, or looking into jewelry that could probably pay off my student loans. There is no arguing they are rich, including Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. She has a lot of money, but how does Kyle Richards make money? There may be some viewers who think she doesn't work hard for her bank account and solely relies on her real estate mogul husband Mauricio Umansky. Well, they couldn't be more wrong.
First, let's talk Kyle's net worth. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the 47-year-old reality star is worth $30 million, so clearly, she is doing something right. Although, if you compare it other Housewives, it doesn't seem like that much. For example, Celebrity Net Worth reports Real Housewives of New York City's Carole Radziwill is worth $50 million and RHOBH stars Yolanda Hadid is worth $45 million, whereas Lisa Vanderpump is worth $65 million.
Whatever the case, Kyle's $30 million is still a heck of a lot. So, how does she rake in the moolah? I can you tell it's not by sitting around the house.
She Has Her Own Store
There's no doubt Kyle loves fashion, which is probably why she opened up her own store, Kyle by Alene Too. As of right now, there is only one location in Beverly Hills, California. But, another store is set to open in South Hampton, New York in May 2016. Clearly, her store is a success.
She Created Her Own TV Show
In June 2015, it was announced that Kyle landed a deal at TV Land with an as of yet untitled series about her life, with her two sisters and single mom. It is set in the 1970s and is said to be executive produced by Kyle, John Riggi (30 Rock, The Comeback), and John Wells (ER). It if gets picked up and becomes a success, Kyle could make some major bucks.
She's An Actress
For those unaware, before becoming a Bravolebrity, Kyle found fame as a child star. If you're a huge fan of the 1978 horror flick Halloween, then you most definitely remember the little girl named Lindsey Wallace. Well, that's Kyle! Crazy, right? She's also starred in Little House on the Prairie, ER, Days of Our Lives, and Bravo's scripted series Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce.
She's A Reality Star
She doesn't just star on RHOBH for free. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she earns $270,000 per season. In May 2013, OK! magazine reported Kyle was making $225,000 for her time as a Housewife. Either way, it's still a decent salary.
She Wrote A Book
In 2011, Kyle's book, Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real with the Housewife Who Does It All, was released. Obviously, she earns money for the books sold. Plus, there's a good chance she'll end up writing more books, which would definitely put more change in the bank.
She Plans For The Future
Richard is always planning for the future, especially when it comes to her passions. For example, during Season 6 of RHOBH, Kyle expressed interest of visiting Dubai (which she ended up doing with her friends and fellow costars) and possibly opening a store there one day. The rate she's going, Kyle will probably make it happen.
I think it's safe to say that Kyle works hard for her money.
