Where Can You Buy Jillian Dempsey's Lid Tints? This Is How To Shop These Sheer Shadows
I think I just found my favorite new eye makeup product. I am crushing hard on Jillian Dempsey Lid Tints. From everything I've seen so far and from what I can tell, it's not quite an eye shadow. It's more of a glossy wash of color for lids... the kind you often see in fashion magazine editorial spreads. I always love the wet lid look but I also know it's impractical IRL, since it can smear and not stay put. It appears as though Dempsey, who is married to McDreamy aka actor Patrick Demspey, has developed a product that won't migrate or make a mess, all the while giving lids that sheer wash of color. Her husband was even her makeup model, showing how these Lid Tints work despite claiming he is "not a makeup guy!" So cute. Next question. Where can you buy Jillian Dempsey Lid Tints?
You can grab one (or all!) of the five shades on her website. Actually, you can shop after you page through the pics of her amazing handiwork on Jennifer Lawrence! You can also shop them on Amazon.
According to the description, the Lid Tints, which aren't cheap at $28 but seem worth it due to the innovative formula, add a pop and a glow to the eyes. You can wear them alone or over powder shadow for dimension and depth.
The Lid Tints are also mistake-proof. Just dab, blend, and enjoy that glossy sheen. In this video, Dempsey shows one of her methods of application — with a brush. Flawless! I want to play with Lid Tints.
Here's another tutorial, where Dempsey explains which fingers to use when applying and why.
Here's Bronze. On her site, Dempsey noted that she created these products to let eyes shine! They are powered by organic ingredients and are meant to withstand to the heat of Hollywood lights. So if they are good enough for J. Law and her red carpets, they are perfect enough for me!
This is Lilac.
Next, we have Plum.
Smudge with Smoke.
I am already (mc)dreaming about dabbing these on my lids for just a hint of color. Le sigh!
Oh, and before you go, behold Dempsey, the makeup model!
Now if only I could figure out which shade I want...
