Now that Kylie Jenner has established the Kylie Lip Kits as one of the biggest and best-selling beauty innovations of 2016, expanding the liquid matte lipstick range to eight shades, what will Kylie Cosmetics do next? It's thrilling to wonder what's on the docket for the teen makeup mogul, who routinely breaks the Internet with Lip Kit restocks. Well, the good news is that the Lip Kits aren't the whole of Kylie Cosmetics. In fact, Jenner has been vocal about plans to create other products to help her fans and makeupistas achieve that patented "Kylie Look." It even says so on her website. So when, exactly, will the rest of Kylie Cosmetics be released?
Relax, glamazons. She's working on them!
Jenner hasn't revealed what else she is working on or when she will release these items. She is keeping those details extremely close to her fringed and feathered vest. Also, instead of a traditional retail plan, she has opted for a methodical, online-only roll out of the Lip Kits, which she can't keep stocked. She may want to continue that regimen, as it has served her well. Still, it's best for fans to be patient and let the master craft her products to her standards and specifications so you (aka the customer who creates the demand) can kopy her look flawlessly.
Here's what we do know.
According to a Jenner quote on her makeup site, "Kylie Cosmetics is a collection of products I created working with my amazing team in our lab to design the perfect 'Kylie look.'" So there are more products and they are likely in a zygotic state or perhaps in beta testing mode. She may even be secretly wearing some of them in her Insta photos, trying them out IRL and with Insta filters, without sharing that info with her millions of minions.
The site's official bio also holds a similar statement. It reads: "Kylie is currently working in the Kylie Cosmetics Lab on a handful of new, top secret products she's creating to help give you that perfect 'Kylie look.' Stay tuned for more products coming soon!"
Since Jenner is known for her bronzed skin and those major eyelashes, we can pretty much expect her to create a foundation, bronzer, or contouring kit, since she hinted about that to Pop Sugar. It also seems safe to assume that she would try and launch a mascara with lengthening fibers. Those products would help her fans mimic her signature look.
Your best bet, though, is to remain patient. The rest of Kylie Cosmetics products will go on sale when they are perfect and ready. So, keep trying to snag a Kylie Lip Kit on the next restock — Candy and Koko are my personal faves that I use almost daily.
Also, you can snatch up a dozen colors from her new Trend Matters nail polish collabo with Sinful Shine. Those are just $2.99 a bottle and can help you kopy Kylie's look.
