Kylie Jenner's First MTV Movie Awards Outfit Is So Different From Her Current Style
Do you remember the old days? The days when Kylie and Kendall were first starting to come onto the scene? Tough as it may be to believe, Kylie Jenner's first appearance at the MTV Movie Awards was three whole years ago now, and her style has changed a lot since then. We have yet to say what she'll be wearing at the event this year, but chances are it's going to be considerably more fab — after all, the girl has her own cosmetics company, which now sells matte lip kits and glosses.
The shift in personal style definitely makes sense — after all, Kylie is something of a chameleon (did you see her new Paper Magazine cover?), and the MTV Movie Awards have changed a lot over the years. Heck, back in the day, they were home to everything from Paris Hilton Princess Jasmine-ing it up, to Alicia Silverstone wearing what might just be the ugliest wide-lapeled tie-dyed lace-up blouse ever.
In the more recent past, a certain Kardashian-Jenner sister made her MTV Movie Awards debut — yep, way back in 2013, Kylie walked the red carpet alongside her older sister, Kim (who was then pregnant with a certain baby, now toddler, North West).
Dressed in a plain white cropped tank top, paired with a beige skirt, the ensemble was a little less fabulous than what we've come to expect from the Kylie of today. Sure, she spiced things up with an oversized chain necklace and an eye-catching pale pink gloss, but it's a far cry from the gold sequined gowns and chain-covered LBDs of today.
What do you think of Kylie's new style? It's cool to see the young star create a style identity for herself, while also growing a formidable cosmetics empire, no?
