'Blood, Sweat & Heels' Daisy Lewellyn Dies At 36

After a long battle with a rare form of liver cancer, on Friday Page Six announced Blood, Sweat & Heels star Daisy Lewellyn died at the age of 36. Fans watched Lewellyn go through her battle with cancer during the second season of the Bravo show. She was always in high spirits and never gave up hope, so this is extremely sad news. A Bravo spokesperson told Page Six,

We are devastated to learn that Daisy Lewellyn from Bravo's Blood, Sweat & Heels has passed away this morning after a battle with a rare form of cancer. Daisy passed on in peace and filled with joy, surrounded by her family and friends. We are all saddened to lose this wonderful woman. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy is expressed.

From 2006 to 2007, Lewellyn worked for Essence magazine as an accessories editor. The magazine commented on her death and said, "As someone who was a friend, constant source of inspiration and considered a life-long member of the Essence family, we are deeply saddened by this news." Editor-in-chief Vanessa De Luca also honored Daisy with a passage that reads in part: "Daisy’s name says it all: she was sunny and warm, a breath of fresh air in springtime. You could not help but be swept away by her vivacious personality.

Like Daisy's former co-workers, her Blood, Sweat & Heels co-stars have also taken to social media to express their heartbreak and to honor their dear friend.
