LeeAnne Locken's Pre-'RHOD' Life Is Wacky

by Alaina Urquhart-White

You guys, we now have yet another installment of the Real Housewives franchise to fill our lives with serious drama. Each time we get to enter a new city and meet new ladies, I get sucked right in. Bravo is now bringing fans to the big old state of Texas with The Real Housewives Of Dallas premiere on Monday, April 11. These ladies mean business, and I will definitely be tuning in. Since I love all things Real Housewives, I had to take a look at the Dallas ladies' taglines when Us Weekly released them ahead of the premiere. I was immediately intrigued by one lady in particular based off of her unique tag line, and that lady would be RHOD star LeeAnne Locken.

The tagline in question is, "I grew up a carnie kid. Play games with me and you're going to pay." Who wouldn't be intrigued by that? I don't think I've ever heard one of the Housewives in any of the cities refer to themselves as anything like a "carnie kid." Also, she seems like she's going to be a tough nut to crack. I love when one lady establishes herself as a true boss before the season even begins. So, here's what else you need to know about Dallas' resident carnie.

She Was A Pageant Participant

According to her Bravo profile, LeeAnne finished in the top 10 at the 1989 Miss USA pageant. Not many people can claim that on a resumé.

She Is A Philanthropist

LeeAnne spends most of her time giving back to her community. Her Bravo bio lists "Legacy Counseling, SPCA of Texas, THE FASHIONISTAS, Aids Services Dallas and the Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids (DIFFADallas)" as just some of these organizations that she is involved with.

She Loves Dogs

The star has a beagle who is she just adores. She even has a picture of him sleeping like a human in there, so you can imagine how well that dog is treated. She also works with organizations involved in helping dogs like Project Ruffway, which raises money for the Dallas SPCA.

She Has Fearless Fashion Sense

LeeAnne is not afraid to rock a seriously bold outfit. Her Instagram is full of amazing fashion choices.

She & Her Boyfriend Are Adorable

The two of them are super adorable. Sure, that makes her a "house girlfriend" technically, but who's keeping track of that?

Not much is said about her "carnie kid" past on her social media but I know I'll be tuning in on Monday to find out more about that. And, either way, LeeAnne seems like a total badass.
