Why You Need Glossier Boy Brow In Your Life

by Jessica Thomas

Ever since it was released last fall, I've been obsessed with trying Glossier boy brow gel. The Glossier Phase 1 and Phase 2 kits have both basically reached cult status among beauty product lovers, but Boy Brow was the product I absolutely had to try. I finally picked up a tube of the brow gel a few weeks ago, and I've been using it religiously ever since. So what's the verdict? Is Glossier Boy Brow worth it?

For me, the answer is a resounding yes. I'm basically a brow gel expert — I've tried every type you can imagine, from volumizing ones to combo pencil/gels to plain tinted brow mascaras. There are some great ones out there, but Boy Brow has officially surpassed them as my favorite and been upgraded to everyday use status in my beauty product arsenal.

So what makes it different? Glossier's website explains it's designed to "thicken, fill in, and groom" brows by using a soft wax formula and sheer pigmentation. To me, the product is super easy to use and deposits realistic color onto my blond brows (FYI, the lightest shade is still pretty dark). But my favorite part about Boy Brow is that it truly does not budge, no matter how long it's been since you applied it.

I think brow gels sometimes tend to fade after a few hours, but I haven't had that problem with Boy Brow. In fact, it looks just as good as the end of the day as it does when I first applied it. Here's a demonstration of how it looks on:

The transformation is pretty incredible, right? I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Christine Mai Nguyen also shared her take on Boy Brow when it launched.

I'm obviously not the only one who thinks Boy Brow is the perfect brow product for everyday use. And at $16, it's not even going to break the bank.
