Rihanna's Slides Come In Three Very RiRi Colors

The buzz around Rihanna's latest shoe line — fur slides for Puma — has been undeniable, with questions about the collection flying in from all directions: Where can we buy a pair of slides? What colors are Rihanna's fur slides for Puma? When are the Puma fur slides coming out? Thankfully, a recent press release is giving us all the answers we could need until the actual slides launch on Apr. 22.

You may have already spotted the black fur slides by Fenty on Rihanna while she was rocking one of her amazing street-style looks, but the new collection will also include the opposing white fur version, as well as a nude "shell" tone, as reported by Footwear News. This color range will also extend to Rihanna's two other shoe collections in collaboration with Puma — a creeper and a sneaker — according to Racked.

The fur slides themselves are seemingly based on the Puma slide-on sandals seen everywhere from gym showers to hipster Instagram accounts. With the addition of faux fur, however, Rihanna is setting a trend for summer shoes before the season has even begun. Not often do we associate fur with the warmer months, but if Fenty x Puma is selling fur slides, then I have no doubt furry fabric will be everywhere this summer.

The chicness of these slides is a happy addition to the athleisure trend that has been championed by Rihanna and fellow Puma poster girl Kylie Jenner. While Jenner is a spokesperson and model for Puma, however, Rihanna is actually designing for the sportswear brand. These fur slides are as much her brain child as the previous creepers and long-tongued sneakers, and she deserves serious props. Not only is RiRi a trend setter through the clothing she buys, but through the clothing she creates, too.

Available on Puma.com beginning on Apr. 22 and retailing at $80, the fur slides will likely sell out immidiately. Especially considering they are being marketed as a "comfy" solution for summer style. Who wouldn't want a pair?

While the black and white fur colors are both chic and easy to match to all outfits, I'm personally in love with the pretty pale pink that is offered with the line. Instead of playing it safe with seasonal brights, RiRi is adding her own special touch as always.
