TMZ Reveals What Happened Right Before The Corey Lewandowski Incident — VIDEO

On Thursday, TMZ released video that appears to show the events leading up to Corey Lewandowski's encounter with Michelle Fields, a former Breitbart reporter. TMZ says that the surveillance footage of Lewandowski, who is Donald Trump's campaign manager, appears to exonerate him. In fact, the outlet refers to the footage as Lewandowski's "get out of jail free card."

It appears to show Fields standing near a Secret Service agent, who points her away and seems to be telling her to leave the area. Fields moves in the direction he indicated and stands with the other reporters while looking at her cell phone. At 2:37 in the video, she leaves the area and cuts around to the left, then forward back to where she and the Secret Service agent previously stood, and where Trump and Lewandowski are walking.

Palm Beach County state attorney David Aronberg stated Thursday that Lewandowski would’t be prosecuted for battery.

Previously, video surfaced of what appeared to be Lewandowski grabbing Field’s arm. The incident has made for several weeks of rough press for the Trump campaign, as the GOP front-runner repeatedly denied any wrongdoing on the part of his campaign manager. Fields resigned from her position at Breitbart in the wake of the incident, based, she said, on a lack of support from the company. She also told The Blaze on Wednesday that she would take legal recourse against both Trump and Lewandowski for defamation of character.
