Ivy Park May Have More Collections In The Future

by May Sofi

ICYMI — Beyonce's Ivy Park collection dropped on Thursday, and if the you thought the fandom hysteria would die down by now, you thought wrong. The stunning athleisure garments are going fast, nearly selling out completely online. To be honest, I'm not really surprised, because Queen B's line totally lives up to the hype. So what happens when all the pieces are gone? Will there be a restock? Or perhaps another option altogether? Lately, I can't help but wonder — will there be another Ivy Park collection? Maybe so.

As you already know, Ivy Park was a joint venture between between Beyonce and Topshop, but their partnership goes much further than that. According to WWD, the starlet actually joined forces with Sir Phillip Green, retail mogul behind tons of popular brands including Topshop, to create their own brand rather than just a collaboration with the UK high-street brand. "Sir Philip has created some amazing collaborations, but I wanted a partnership and a stand-alone brand," Beyoncé told WWD, revealing the name of their new company to be Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. So if they're really building a whole brand from the ground up, I would imagine there will be more collections, apart from this debut activewear range.

Green revealed even more about the brand in an interview with WWD, saying there will be new colors and pieces added in about six weeks. If they're already planning to roll out new items, then a brand new collection is probably coming sometime in the future, too. Perhaps a line of killer bodysuits like the ones she always rocks on stage?

Or maybe she'll choose to glam it up and release some evening-wear pieces.

I'm picturing faux fur boas, plunging jumpsuits, and cutout mini dresses.

Oh I know! Maybe she'll do a range of chic intimates?

After all, lingerie isn't too far from activewear. It would be a natural extension.

If this debut Ivy Park line is any indication, then whatever collections follow will be just as epic.
