The world has lost a legend. Prince died on Thursday, at the very young age of 57. The music icon left his mark on the world in so many ways, but his groundbreaking fashion sense cannot be ignored. He had a signature style that will forever be associated with him as an artist, so in remembrance, let's take a look back at some of Prince's most iconic outfits. Nothing will ever come close to topping these.

Police are still investigating the cause of the musician's death, but what we all do know is that the world lost him far too soon. From his music to his movies, Prince has an incredible legacy that he will be leaving behind, and that most definitely includes his style. He always shocked as well as awed his fans, completely ignoring what society expected a man to wear with his bold colors, wild prints, and incredibly daring ensembles. From his sequin suits to his ruffled shirts (and all those times in between when he bared a whole lot more), Prince's style is unrivaled, and was just another facet of what made him an incredibly groundbreaking artist.
