What To Wear To The Summer Sixteen Tour

by Jessica Willingham

He hit us with the Hotline, and now we're ready for Drake's Summer Sixteen World Tour. If you were lucky enough to score tickets, it's time to start thinking about and planning your outfit. So here's some brainstorming on what to wear to the tour, because it's going to be epic.

The What A Time To Be Alive duo Future and Drake will be touring through the North America with a final stop in Vancouver. An American Express ticket pre-sale began on April 26, and general tickets go on sale on April 29. It's like to be a sold out tour, so if you end up snagging a spot in the crowd, I know you're gonna want to wear something special.

In choosing what to wear, you could start by taking a note from his most recent music videos. Drake has a style that blends edgy and sporty, and from "Hotline Bling" to "Work" featuring Rihanna, the fashion has been a mix of club and chill style. That's good news if you're like me and hate the idea of wearing six inch heels to dance the night away in a packed arena. But hey, if that's your go-to, there's plenty of ways to style anything up or down (and most of all) for comfort.

Here are a few outfit ideas to get you started.

1. Girly Sporty

Take note from the beautiful women of "Hotline Bling": a little flirty, sporty street style goes a long way. Top it off with your favorite flat bill and you're ready to dance all night.

2. Hip Hop Chic

Any true fan knows that Drake's record label, October's Very Own, is his baby. Represent your favorite artist with his hoodie, and glam it up with a watch, statement backpack and sleek skinnies.

3. Festival Fashionista

If Drake is just one stop on your long summer of festivals, there's no need to ditch your fringe now. Instead, incorporate some Drizzy lyrics into your wardrobe with a graphic tee under a long kimono. Add some sweetness with a girly, feminine blush.

4. Glamorous

Ready to get dressed to the nines and go out with your girls? You can still keep it Drake-approved by layering a varsity jacket over a bodycon skirt. Pair with dainty hoops and heels and you're ready to hit the town.
