Where To Buy The Converse Pride Collection, Just In Time For LGBT Pride Month
We're just weeks away from the official start of LGBT Pride Month. Whether you've been to one of the many Pride festivals celebrated all over the world or planning to join the festivities for the first time, there's a new reason to come out in style. In the spirit of this joyful and love-filled time of the year, Converse released the Pride Collection of sneakers, available now at converse.com. The company even transformed its signature shoe, the Chuck Taylor All Star, into several colorful designs to represent the LGBT rainbow flag.
According to company's website, "The Converse Pride Collection is honored to join the LGBT movement. Any crusade that hits the streets as loud and passionate as this one definitely needs sneakers to fit the occasion. We happily abide." As someone who's owned several pairs of the iconic Chuck Taylors (the high top black and white ones are my fave), I am thrilled that a well-known footwear brand such as Converse is celebrating Pride Month. Although wearing Pride isn't the same without taking part to understand and help out the community, it's still nice to have the option to rock a rainbow flag sneaker to promote equality, diversity, and acceptance.
The Converse Pride Collection includes a series of limited edition shoes that range from $65 to $85. In addition, the company is also offering Design Your Own Chuck Taylor All Star Pride to those who want to rock a customized look. The collection is available for all genders and comes in shoe sizes 3 to 13. Plus, this woven rainbow design is EVERYTHING:
To those who opt for an edgier look, this black with rainbow specks is a Pride must-have:
