This Is Why Kylie Jenner Created Her Lip Kits

The latest news surrounding Kylie Cosmetics is alarming — according to the Better Business Bureau, they are being stolen out of mailboxes and off porches because they are so popular (and so hard to purchase) — talk about #kraziness! There's no doubt everyone wants the 18-year-old reality star's lip kits to get her infamous luscious lip, but the reason Kylie Jenner created the lip kits in the first place might surprise you even more.

Jenner has talked about her lip injections, but before she had them, she was always trying to make her lips look larger than they were, according to a new post on her website.

“Long before I got my lips done, I was really obsessed with lipstick,” Jenner said on her website. “I was always trying to make my lips look bigger, but I didn’t want people to know I was actually wearing lipstick.”

Of course the popularity of Jenner's lipstick line has a bit of an ironic twist to it, and we finally know the real reason behind the creation of Jenner's lipstick. She was tired of her own favorite lipstick (M.A.C.'s Whirl) of selling out, so she created her own unlimited lifetime supply. Got to love a girl who knows and loves what she wants!

“I started overlining my lips to see if I liked the look of them bigger,” Jenner said. “When I got my lips done, I got even more obsessed. At the time, my favorite color was M.A.C Whirl. I was really into it, but once everyone figured out what I was wearing, it would sell out.”
