Summer and spring are full of gorgeous trends for 2016. Whether its stunning braids or velvet lips, the trends just keep coming, but the one trend to try before summer's over features a gorgeous pop of color. From the catwalk of the Chanel Spring 2016 runway to last year's Diane Von Furstenberg show featuring Kendall Jenner, blue eye shadow is the trend that you need to try before the end of summer. While it may seem like a scary look to embrace, there are great ways to incorporate the look without rocking a crazy bold aqua eye during office hours.
Pops of color for eye makeup have always been popular, but thing have gotten more specific for 2016. Instead of the whole spectrum of colors being the major trend this year, it seems as though one hue has been leading the pack. Blue eyeshadows and liners are at the top of many to-try lists, and the popularity of the look doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Blues became popular last year when Diane Von Furstenberg used gorgeous diffused blue shadows on models like Kendall Jenner during her spring/summer 2016 show. Fast forward to Chanel's Spring 2016 runway, and we saw a deep blue stripe running across the models' eyes.
While the DVF show look was far more wearable, the time in between the two shows proves that the trend is here to stay, and it's the one trend to try before summer is over.
So what will you need to try this gorgeous trend before the end of the summer? You've got a couple of options.
