Here's Who's Team Tre Going Into 'RHONJ' Season 7

by Marenah Dobin

Real Housewives of New Jersey should just be called The Teresa Giudice Show. It has always been and will always be about Teresa. I mean, come on, they didn't even film a new season while Teresa was away in prison. There is no other cast member in any Real Housewives series who is so instrumental to their show that it would actually cease filming. With that said, it has to be pretty annoying to be any other cast member on RHONJ. Yes, they are a part of one of the most popular reality shows around, but they are really just in supporting roles. This makes me wonder how Teresa's fellow cast members really feel about her. From what we've seen in the past, you're either with Teresa or against her. So, who is Team Teresa Giudice on Real Housewives of New Jersey as we head into Season 7?

The latest season has not started airing yet, but the RHONJ Season 7 trailer has been released and it looks really good. There seems to be a ton of drama coming our way (as per usual), but thanks to the editing I can't totally tell who is yelling at who. I just want to know who is on which side — even though obviously Team Teresa is the place to be. Here's what we know of where allegiances lie so far, based on the trailer and interviews the women have done ahead of the new season.

Melissa Gorga

Friendship between Teresa and Melissa Gorga is not something that I could have imagined years ago. These two were mortal enemies and their feud really made the show intense. But nowadays, they have put their differences aside and have become a pretty powerful unit. Based on social media, it really seems like these two are besties. Plus, they get along and defend each other in the trailer. It seems like Melissa is the MVP of Team Teresa.

Dolores Catania

This new Housewife has been one of Teresa's good friends for over 20 years, so it goes without saying that she is Team Tre. But in case you need more justification, Teresa said in a Bravo interview, "I've known her since my 20s. Dolores has a tough exterior, but a really big heart. She's amazing, you're going to love her."

Siggy Flicker

Siggy Flicker is another new addition, but Teresa seems to like her, which bodes well for anyone trying to survive this show. Teresa told Bravo, "When she walks into a room, you can't miss her, you know she's there. We both make each other laugh; she puts a smile on my face, I put a smile on her face." The show can definitely use some laughs between all the tense drama, so I'm hoping this Siggy lady really brings it.

Jacqueline Laurita

Jacqueline is the player on Team Teresa who has been traded back and forth a few times. Based on the trailer, it looks like these two make up after being on good terms before Teresa's prison sentence, but then they get into it more than once. It's unclear where they ultimately stand and that seems to change moment to moment, but it does seem like Jacqueline is Teresa's main nemesis this season. I'm just wondering if she is the one who Teresa randomly compares to Osama Bin Laden in the trailer. In a Bravo interview, Jacqueline shed some light on their complicated relationship:

It's been a roller coaster at times, but we're trying to get back on track and stay on track because there's a history there, you fight harder. It has more meaning when you have history. It's like when you have family. I feel like she was my sister, and we've had falling outs. It's like the work we're both putting in trying to repair the damage that's been done.

Kathy Wakile

Teresa's cousin Kathy is not a full-time cast member, but she will be appearing this season, and it looks like there's an awkward sit down in store. In the trailer, Teresa says she "just wants to cut the cancer" and Kathy replies, "We are not cancer." So, it doesn't look like that went too well. I feel like Kathy wants to be Team Teresa and support her family, but it has been a frustrating road for her and her sister Rosie Pierri.

You're either with Teresa or against her and we all know that it's the smart call to be on her side.
