The Hound Managed To Survive On 'Game Of Thrones'

Guys, Sandor Clegane aka The Hound is officially back on Game Of Thrones. In Sunday's episode we finally got a clear answer about his fate. Much speculation about whether he was still kicking around Westeros or whether he was dead has been circulating since we last saw our angry, scarred friend. Apparently, he's a really tough dude to kill. So, what actually happened to The Hound?

Well, when we last saw The Hound he was getting his butt kicked pretty intensely by our beloved badass, Brienne of Tarth. After she found him with Arya (who she swore to Catelyn Stark to protect), she ordered for him to turn the Stark child over to her. Of course, The Hound refused because he isn't one to go with the flow. Things got pretty heated and the two warriors got into a seriously incredible sword fight. Once the blades hit the ground, they continued fighting with their bare fists and Brienne eventually got the upper hand. She ended up biting off a pretty large chunk of his ear and knocking him off a cliff with a giant rock.

Arya soon found him after escaping from Brienne's sight. When she came across him, he had a severely broken leg and was basically a pile of blood and broken bones. He actually begged Arya to kill him but she refused. She left him to die at the bottom of a cliff, where a septon apparently found him and nursed him back to health.

Clearly, things were looking pretty rough for The Hound at the end of Season 4. He fooled us all and pulled through, though. I can only wonder what is next for this indestructible warrior.
