Jordan Gets Real With JoJo On 'Bachelorette'

by Nicole Pomarico

Since day one of The Bachelorette this season, it's been pretty obvious that JoJo is really feeling it with Jordan Rodgers, and not just because he was the lucky recipient of the First Impression Rose. And now that they're starting to get to know each other even better, the sparks are starting to fly — even when they sit down to have a pretty serious conversation. On Monday night's episode, Jordan told JoJo about his past relationships on The Bachelorette , and it seemed to have made their connection even deeper.

He started off by explaining how his relationship with his ex-girlfriend changed the way he looks at love, and what he's learned from the mistakes he's made. He told JoJo because of what happened in that relationship he feels like he has to push herself to be vulnerable, something she totally understood since she was the same way when she was falling for Ben Higgins on The Bachelor. And Jordan admitted that he's taking the lessons he learned with his ex into this experience, hoping that it will make his future relationships even better. It's a mature attitude to take in a situation that is already pretty crazy, especially if he's been burned before.

It's definitely interesting to hear what he has to say about that relationship, since it's made news lately. After the first episode aired, she told the world he allegedly cheated via Instagram, although that might not even be true. ABC declined to comment on the situation, and Jordan couldn't be reached directly. But if what his ex said was true, it does sound like that could be one of the mistakes he's talking about, and hopefully, he's changed since then. JoJo definitely doesn't deserve any more heartbreak!

Something else he pointed out? He's only ever said "I love you" to that ex, so that word and feeling mean a lot to him. When (and if) he drops that L-bomb on JoJo, he will probably really mean it, which means it's going to be a meaningful moment for both of them. Plenty of Bach fans have their doubts about Jordan, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for now. He just seems so sweet!
