Here's How Long You Can Enjoy Starbucks' New Frapp

With the official start of summer just around the corner, it's only natural to crave a chilly libation for this sunniest of seasons. And thanks to the brand new 'Bux bev that dropped this weekend, Summer 2016 is set to be filled with one such quintessentially cool treat. But when can you get a Starbucks Double Double Fudge Bar Frappuccino? Well, my fellow frosty-concoction-loving friends, here's what you need to know about when you can get your hands on this Fudgsicle in a cup — aka the drink your adolescent self could only dream would one day be possible — and for how long.

It should go without saying that this is a beverage you'll want to imbibe in celebration of summer's start. But I'll say it anyway: You're gonna wanna give the Double Double Fudge Bar Frappuccino a try, especially if you're a chocolate lover (I mean, if you aren't, what is your life? No shame, I'm just trying to understand). Let's just take a moment to rattle off / drool over the ingredients. This seasonal Frapp consists of double servings of mocha sauce in a frothy blend of vanilla syrup, coffee, milk, and ice, topped with a swirl of chocolate whipped cream. In my world, we simply call this "Yes, please."

So in addition to the drink's very existence, here's the good news: You can get it right this very second (What are you doing? Get up! Go! No wait, finish this article first) at participating stores across the United States and Canada. A 12-ounce Tall Double Double Fudge Bar Frappuccino will run you around $4.25 to $4.95 depending on the market — which, if you ask me, is a small price to pay for all that liquid chocolate nirvana. Plus, said size also contains 75 mg of caffeine. Refreshing, chocolatey, and with a kick? Perfection.

Now for the potentially not-so-good news. Per a Starbucks representative via email to Bustle, the Double Double Fudge Bar Frappuccino is available "for the next few weeks while supplies last." Obviously, this means that if you really want to enjoy the divinity that is this blended drink, you're going to need to get off your tuchas and make your way to your local Starbucks. Otherwise, the moment will pass you by in the blink of an eye, and the Double Double Fudge Bar will forevermore be the frapp that got away.

But if you somehow do manage to miss the Double Double Fudge Bar boat, don't despair (entirely). Starbucks recently added two other frappuccinos to its menu for the season — bringing back the popular S'mores Frappuccino and debuting the new Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino. So, any which way you look at it, Summer 2016 is shaping up to be pretty darn sweet.
