You Can't Miss 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 7

by Kaitlin Reilly

If you've been anxiously counting the days to the Pretty Little Liars Season 7 premiere, you're not alone. The Season 6 finale ended in the biggest cliffhanger that PLL has ever pulled on its audience, but fortunately, fans waiting to hear about what happened to Hanna won't have to wait much longer. The series returns to Freeform on June 21 at 8 p.m., and luckily for fans, it sounds like the anticipation was totally worth it. It couldn't be a more exciting time to watch PLL live because, as Lucy Hale put it in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the seventh season will be "the end of PLL as we know it." But what if you're not near a TV when it airs live? Don't worry: there are a few ways to stream Pretty Little Liars Season 7 so you don't fall out of step with your favorite Liars.

In a world where iPhones and laptops often replace actual television sets, it makes perfect sense for you to be unable to watch Pretty Little Liars Season 7 in a traditional couch-and-TV setting. If you're stuck in a television-free room, but have a cable subscription login, you can stream Season 7 of Pretty Little Liars live on Freeform's website when it airs in your time zone.

Don't have a cable login? You don't have to miss out on all of the juicy clues you'll be getting in Season 7, though you may have to wait a little bit longer for the answers you crave. If you want to watch PLL the day after it airs, you have quite a few options. If you are only going to be missing an episode or two, but can watch the rest of the season live, an easy way to get your PLL quick fix is by purchasing individual episodes via iTunes or Amazon. Both online shops sell episodes that cost $1.99 for SD content, and $2.99 for HD. Each episode tends to become available the morning after the episode airs at the latest.

If you need to stream PLL this way every week, you can purchase a season pass on iTunes or Amazon, both for $39.99, which will give you every episode as they each become available. It's a nice option if you want to keep the series on your iPad or other device and watch during your commute or gym time.

There's one last option that might cost you overall, but is a pretty sweet deal if you love TV and don't want to shell out for cable. A Hulu Plus membership costs $7.99 for a "limited commercials" plan, and $11.99 for a "no commercials" plan. Last season, new episodes of PLL became available on Hulu the day after they aired. Though we don't know the official end date of Season 7, I think it's safe to say that the show will most likely end sometime around March of 2017, given the pattern the show has followed. That means if you signed up for a "limited commercials" plan until Season 7 was over, you would be paying about $64 to watch every episode of PLL and everything else the streaming service offers.

It doesn't matter how you choose to watch Pretty Little Liars Season 7. As long as you're tuning in soon after the episode airs, you'll be right there with all of the other fans searching for answers.
