Brooks' Journey On 'RHOC' May Be Complete

by Kayla Hawkins

With the relationship drama that's plagued Real Housewives of Orange County, Bravo fans have spent a lot of time with Brooks Ayers for the past few years. But will Brooks return for Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11? The cast list doesn't technically include the men who date the 'wives, but Brooks has been a huge part of the series for the past four seasons. And while his absence certainly would be felt, it seems that both Brooks and the cast of RHOC are happy to say goodbye to one another permanently, as Brooks is no longer dating Vicki and likely will not appear on the show. Certainly, Vicki's costars should be happy to hear that their relationship is completely over, because he's stolen a lot of the spotlight over the past few seasons.

But that's going to be done now, because I don't think Brooks would even want to return to RHOC after everything that's happened. From the sounds of his Twitter, he seems very upset about how the last year has treated him. Even though he admitted that he had forged medical documents in an interview with People and a statement to E! News, he still claims that he had cancer — he just didn't want to be forced to shared it on television.

As Ayers' statement to E! News said, "I never intended to disclose my actual medical records or details about my private and personal medical history, thus the rationalization of presenting documents that weren't true simply for a 'storyline' for the show." So, confusingly, he's managed to both admit that he was lying for television and claim that he was actually telling the truth about having cancer, proving the women on RHOC who accused him of lying both true and false at the same time.

And while that whole debacle may have been confusing, one thing absolutely isn't: Vicki's opinion of Brooks. In the past, she was able to look past the accusations facing him in order to forgive him, but now, she seems happy to cut him out of her life and her storyline this season. In a triumphant interview, Vicki told People that she's no long hung up on Brooks. "I got my heart broken, but it was in God's timing you know I just believe that what is to be is to be, and it wasn't meant to be, so I'm at this new place and I'm happy." What's unclear is why Vicki makes the phone call you can see in the season trailer, where it seems like she's still defending Brooks.

But even though Vicki may not be as far along in her healing process in Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11, I think she'll be well on her way to leaving Brooks behind and embracing her "woo" this year.
