Are Juicy Couture's Founders Returning?

by Michelle King

Hey, remember 2003? The OC was just beginning. Livestrong bracelets were a thing. And you couldn't swing an Ugg boot without hitting at least eight Juicy Coture sweatsuits. However, the once-huge brand has seen a major falling out over the years. Sure, it's still around, but it's not on everyone's radar in the way it once way.

But all is not lost for Juicy! The original founders, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, are now looking for an investor so they can buy back their former brand from its current owners, Fifth & Pacific. The pair sold the brand in 2003, but left in 2010 after an alleged conflict. Vogue reports that Skaist-Levy and Nash-Taylor returning to Juicy would "bring a new lease of life to the brand." Just so long as that doesn't mean pastel colored sweatsuits with 'Think Juicy' adorned across our backside.
