Tweets and other reports from the Kinopolis cinema complex shooting in Viernheim, Germany claim that a gunman entered the facility, which is located outside of Frankfurt, and opened fire. As of Thursday morning Eastern time, the Associated Press and Reuters are both reporting that the gunman was killed by German authorities, and that despite initial reports that up to 50 people were injured in the attack, no one else was killed, and there have been no serious injuries.

Photos from the scene shared on Twitter by German media show heavily armed authorities standing guard outside the cinema complex, which appeared to be roped off by tape.
