The Best Looks of Paris Fashion Week Fall 2014
Paris Fashion Month is closing up shop, and from the bizarre to the beautiful, the Fall 2014 presentations didn't disappoint. Valentino, Nina Ricci, and Balenciaga went for an unabashedly pretty looks with florals and frills scattered throughout; Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton inspired us to dress like our favorite cool street style icons; and Chanel made us hungry with its chic supermarket.
Whether modern sportswear or delicate frills are your thing, Paris Fashion Week had a style for everyone, and there was no shortage of inspiration on the runway. Dare we say we're actually excited for fall?
Carven Fall 2014
The accordion pleats and mesmerizing pattern of this Carven ensemble make it into the perfect bold statement for after-hours dressing.
Stella McCartney Fall 2014
Stella McCartney loves to mix in a sporty element with her more glamorous pieces. This fringed minidress looks like the flirty little sister to her swooping bias cut sheaths from Fall 2012.
Elie Saab Fall 2014
Perhaps it’s just because this Elie Saab gown echoes the silhouette of Lupita Nyong’o’s stunner of an Oscars gown, but the flowing silhouette and ombre effect used on this gown creates an altogether ethereal effect.
Balenciaga Fall 2014
We’d suggest perhaps wearing a light camisole with this Balenciaga number, but besides the transparency, we can’t find a fault with this dreamy, draped dress.
Dior Fall 2014
The colors really did pop on Dior’s runway, and somehow, this red and pink ensemble came out more saucy than sweet thanks to an asymmetric hemline and textured fabric.
Vanessa Bruno Fall 2014
Vanessa Bruno’s sporty sheath dress is a softer take on the athletic trend.
Dries Van Noten Fall 2014
There’s something so fresh and modern about this ensemble, whether it’s the hypnotically printed midi skirt or the belted navy coat on top.
Roland Mouret Fall 2014
This bright red checkered tweed dress with its bold leather collar looks like it belongs on a high-powered executive.
Nina Ricci Fall 2014
Some runway looks are just unabashedly pretty, and Nina Ricci’s sequined dress is exactly that.
Balmain Fall 2014
This flared leather skirt and textured turtleneck may not be a look for everyone, but the sharp silhouette and army green color of the skirt make the ensemble into a glamorous urban warrior uniform.
Lanvin Fall 2014
There’s nothing more chic in Fall than a truly fabulous coat, and Lanvin nails it with this fur-trimmed, military-inspired piece.
Chloé Fall 2014
Leopard and neutrals? Done and done.
Vionnet Fall 2014
This flowing, draped dress looks fit for a goddess, or simply someone who isn’t afraid to make a statement in bohemian black and white.
Chanel Fall 2014
If only we looked this chic grocery shopping…
Zadig & Voltaire Fall 2014
Only Zadig & Voltaire could make a flimsy, drop waist cotton maxi dress chic.
Valentino Fall 2014
Nothing says modern romance quite like a dress saturated in cascading florals.
Louis Vuitton Fall 2014
Not only do we adore this outfit, the ensemble literally makes us want to be this girl: effortlessly cool, with that certain je ne said quoi.
Saint Laurent Fall 2014
Saint Laurent’s Fall collection is for the girl who is not afraid to steal a bit of style from the boys, and we’re enamored with the results.
Giambattista Valli Fall 2014
The delicate pink and crimson dresses at Giambattista Valli were to die for.
