Kathryn Edwards Is Leaving 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills,' But You Bet She'll Be Watching Season 7's Drama
In what comes as not-so-shocking news, after only one season, Kathryn Edwards is leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . She confirmed the news to People and said, "I feel great. I walk away from it all with great feelings. I have no regrets at all." It seems that she just wants to focus more on herself, her husband, Donnie Edwards, and is ready to get back her privacy. "It was definitely an adventure for me. I really am kind of a private person," she said. "It really just comes down to the time and what I value the most. I value those times with my husband and our friends. And I really didn't want to miss another year. It's nice to be able to live life."
In early June, rumors surfaced about Edwards' departure from RHOBH. Well, now the news is official, so what's next for the 51-year-old reality star? One thing remains certain and that is Edwards will watch RHOBH from the comfort of her own home. That's right, just because she's walking away from being a Housewife doesn't mean she wants to leave all of the drama behind her.
"I'm sure I will [watch next season]!" she said. "I'm dying to see what's going to happen with Vanderpump and the crew next season!" She also dished on how she plans on staying in touch with Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, and Yolanda Hadid. Like Edwards, Hadid will also not return for RHOBH Season 7.
All that said, Edwards told People being on RHOBH was a good thing, especially since she was able to help others also suffering from hearing impairment, like herself. In a Season 6 episode, she received a special hearing device. "I feel really good walking away that I was able to get to a lot of people as far as my hearing device," she said. "I still get messages on Facebook and Instagram from people who got the hearing device that I have and it's changed their life. That's been great. I love hearing those stories."
Well, at least she is exiting on good terms and in high spirits. It doesn't get less dramatic than that for a Housewife, right?
