Here's A Peek At The 'Cursed Child' Set

For those of us who never really got the chance to participate in a stage production, the entire affair can seem overwhelmingly magical when viewed from the orchestra pit. A new Harry Potter and the Cursed Child set design video, out now from Pottermore, shows just how ~magical~ it is to bring Rowling's work to life.

According to Pottermore, the Harry Potter social hub will devote time in the coming weeks to "go behind the scenes of the play with members of the cast and creative team to learn more about how this remarkable production was put together." This will lead up to The Cursed Child 's official premiere at the Palace Theatre London on July 30.

The video below features a brief statement from Tony Award-winning set designer Christine Jones about her experience working on the Harry Potter play. Jones praises the craftsmanship "and artistry that goes into every aspect of" bringing her designs to life.

In addition to behind-the-scenes footage of the "little bits of magic spread throughout" Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Pottermore has still images of Jones' miniature set models. If you loved the Harry Potter Little Free Library, you'll definitely go ga-ga for these pictures. Head on over to Pottermore and check them out, after you watch the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child set design video below.
