I did not have the good fortune to see Hamilton on Broadway with the complete original cast in their respective roles, but that doesn't mean that I, or others who have only experienced Hamilton via the soundtrack and vicariously through truly #blessed people, can't appreciate the original gang's final curtain call. Because let's be real here, people. Getting a taste of the live show in any way, shape, or form is good enough for us. We all are dying to experience what is possibly the most bittersweet aspect of the live show to date — by which I mean watch Lin-Manuel Miranda, Phillipa Soo, and Leslie Odom Jr.'s final Hamilton curtain call.

While witnessing the emotional moment is painstaking knowing it marks the end of an era, it's also just nice to be included in the experience. It somehow makes the exits of the above cast members easier. In fact, it is watching this very curtain call that enables fans near and far to mourn together on the internet, as one gigantic, sad and slightly melodramatic whole. The hoopla is most certainly warranted in my book, especially considering just how sentimental the last bow is.
