Where To Buy Kate Middleton's 2016 Wimbledon Dress

The Queen, or rather Duchess, of ladylike dressing is back at it again in a dress that, let’s just say, I didn’t see coming. As reported by People, Kate Middleton’s 2016 Wimbledon dress, while conservative and chic like most of her attire, is a bit more playful than her traditional wearings. According to Popsugar, it was an Alexander McQueen dress from the design house's Obsession Collection that Middleton rocked to the Wimbledon games.

The dress of note featured a typical silhouette for the Duchess, high at the neck with a hem hitting just below the knee. However, it was the dress' pattern that turned heads. The print was comprised of lipsticks, butterflies, flowers, and skulls. Needless to say, the whimsical details on the McQueen garment were unlike anything she’s ever sported before. Regularly opting for solid colors, except for stripes on a few occasions, the 34-year-old's latest playfully-patterned ensemble was both refreshing and regal.

While Middleton is known for wearing a fast fashion outfit or two, this dress is unfortunately not one of her thrifty finds. However, that wont stop me from trying to recreate the whimsical aesthetic this summer.
