Here's When You Can Get Starbucks' New Sangria Tea

by Courteney Larocca

Get your Instagram ready because Starbucks just released a new summer favorite drink: the Teavana Shaken Iced Berry Sangria Herbal Tea. Not only is this new beverage picture-perfect, but it sounds super refreshing with its combination of sangria syrup, blackberries, orange slices, apple juice, ice, and Teavana Iced Passion Tango Tea, aka the base to the Starbucks Secret Menu Purple Drink.

So, when exactly can you start ordering the drink and inevitably make it your new summertime staple? The nonalcoholic sangria officially makes its way to Starbucks stores everywhere on July 12. Can't wait until then? If you're a Starbucks Rewards member, you don't have to, because your favorite coffee chain loves you so much that they're letting you sip this new tea a day early on July 11.

As a huge fan of Starbucks, sangria and summertime, this drink perfectly combines everything I love that starts with the letter "S." My Starbucks Gold Card and I already hit up my local store and ordered this delicious twist on iced tea and I'll be honest with you, the drink's sangria syrup with its blend of peach, elderberry, blood orange, and raspberry flavors really does make it taste just like sangria. And, the fresh fruit blended in are not only delicious, but make the drink perfect for posting about all over social media (another one of my favorite "S" things). Seriously, just try to tell me this drink isn't ready for its close up:

So, get ready to up your Instagram game because happy hour is about to be any hour that Starbucks is open. The Teavana Shaken Iced Berry Sangria Herbal Tea, which costs between $3.95-$4.25 for a grande depending on the market, will be available at Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada all summer long – or until we drink up all of their supplies, of course.
